I do think this lawsuit makes some very good points.....

As do I - and I am very glad to see it move forward.

Plus, I'll be giggling and peeing my pants if Kwik is the spark that burns down some of this state's crappy laws, to the benefit of all of us... especially the "yes men" that post to TGO.

Truth is, if some of the proposed legislation passes, it will make his lawsuit a non-issue. The only thing that would be left that is likely unconstitutional is the TICS system, which I don't think Kwik is complaining about.

Frankly I can't wait for that class action lawsuit, lots of $10's that should be returned to the gun owners of TN.

Exactly, since he's never done anything that puts gun owners in a bad light in the eyes of our legislators, who as we all know full well only do what is in the best interest of their minions...er I mean constituents.

I just really hope a win for him actually turns into a win for all of us.

I'll drink to that. And if it doesn't turn out that way at least I'll be drunk.

Don't really get what you mean by that. Unless you mean the people that disagree with ol Lenny on actions, not necessarily principle.

I'd love to see some things change with our laws, but I don't think walking around like an idiot and being a trouble making douche is the way to get that done. If it works fine, but I'll never say he did the right thing or support his actions.

I'm feelin' a little love for Lenny in this thread. I'm gonna send him a few TGO stickers to help bury the hatchett.

I understand what your saying, but he also wrote the paper that got the judge to reverse his previous ruling

Leonard has a lawyer in another case, right? I don't think he is totally without legal advice. I still don't understand his "cause", other than trolling for money. Has that changed?

Having been around a few judges as a LEO I'd say it's probably more about covering himself then Kwik's arguments. I really don't want a litigious idiot representing a case that will establish case precedence.

Yep, it feels like a butt covering move to me. Lenny HAS managed to get some press.

I don't think he's ever had a lawyer, but I'm not sure.

AFAIK this case has nothing to do with money. It is about the constitutionality of 39-17-1307

You may be right about the judge.

But if the case prevails I really don't care who brought it...
