Havent ever tried it, but im kinda skeptic since he didnt show us just how dull or sharp his knife was to begin with...

Yes, it would work if the window is rough on top, some are a little bit. Glass is harder than steel, and anything that is harder will sharpen it if the surface of the material is vaugely whetstone like.

That's from the UK. Does he have a permit for that knife? :D

it would work but like he said in the video "honing". It will take a slightly dull edge back to sharp but if your knife is really rolled, you will need something harder or more that 8 storkes to get it back to sharp. I have never been that desperate that I had to use my car window. Take the money you saved on power windows and buy a knife sharpener.
