I had already thought of that but slugs are expensive and I'm to cheap to miss that much.

75 YARDS??? Shotgun slugs? That will be a long, loud, swear filled stage for me

It won't be to bad. It's more like 60 yds. and they are big targets requiring only one hit.

since I am new to this, can I just use buckshot and still get off with one hit?

Uh...no.

You've got almost two weeks to figure out where your slugs hit.

Matt,

Look like you got a great stages set up for the match. Awesome....

Allan

Are you going to shoot it? You're more than welcome to use my scattergun.

Are the competitors going to be grouped into different "classes" based on the type of sights (iron/optics), action type, caliber, magazine capacity, etc.?

Posted

Nope. We will divide into squads. If you have a friend at the event you can be in the same squad with them. We do try to keep all the new shooters out of the same squad for match efficiency.

Scores will be seperated by division. Your division will be determined by the sights on your rifle. Division rules will be posted to the website soon.

What kind of 12 gauge rounds are best for the birdshot load? like skeet loads? Something a little heavier?

I am looking forward to possibly coming out and watching. I may bring my guns and try to play a little. Quick question, are there any specifics on rifles? I couldn't find anything on the MCTS site. Thank you.

Bing your guns and shoot the match. You'll regret it if you don't shoot.

Almost everyone use's an AR platform. There are a few AKs. I've seen a couple SKSs and one Garand at other 3 gun matches.

Is anybody interested in carpooling from south nashville? With all the money I am spending on ammo, I have got to save some money somewhere.
