After many, many years, I've had it with Bank of America... Does anyone have experience with 5/3 Bank, or another Mid-Tennessee area bank for general family checking and savings?

Thx!

I'm right there with you with Bank of America. Twice last week, they locked my bank card out because they thought it had been stolen. Just because I have 3 vehicles and occasionally have to fill them up and wash them, they block it. This was pretty much the breaking point with them. Don't want to use my credit union as a main account because it's a hassel to get cash with so few atm's and no cash back with purchase. Don't know where to go.

I have never had checking/savings but I bought a new vehicle on 03 that was financed through them. If the payment did not reach them by the due date (I'm not talking about the late fee date) they would call. Never had a late payment other than it getting to them a day or two after the due date and have a very high credit rating. We have never had that happen before. It had us double checking to make sure we had not missed a payment even though we were sure that was not the case. I did not like that at all but after that happened a couple of times we allowed a little more time for it to get there.

most banks allow paying your loans online, mine does, just link checking/savings account to loan account and on the day the loan is due, bada bing, done and don't worry about it..

I've used them for about 8 years now.

Very personable bank, they actually care about their customers and have gone waaaaaaaaay out of their way to help me out of a few tight spots before.

That and they don't post.

I recommend them, highly.

I have all my accounts at 5/3, including my mortgage. To me they are the best bank around. No gun busting . . . All personnel at the branch that I bank at knows me by my first name and greets me always at I go in. Awesome perks etc. PM me and I'll tell you more.!!!!

I have used the 5/3 location in Brentwood for the last 8 years. I have my business account with them. They have always been very helpful and I have not had any problems with them.
