Would anyone be interested in a postal match?

I am thinking pistols, any non-optical sights, any caliber larger than .32

25 yards.

Maybe have a small prize?

Let me know....

I do..plus, the company I work for is sending me some brand NEW cold weather gear that they bought for their employees...they're based out of wanamingo, MN. (sorry about the off topic thing).

David, if I am traveling up there, but live here, and I get a day off can I participate in a postal match with rifles? due to current (stupid) gun laws, I can travel with my pistols..so I'll have to buy a long gun up there and participate with that.

To get the target go to our website, select targets from the download menu, search for the target named idpa and download it. It will print 8.5 x 11 (its a 1/3 scale idpa target).

15 yards, 5 shots, no time limit, open sights, any caliber or type of handgun.

You have all month, send in the target by March 31. I will score and post how everyone did.

My address is:

Shepherd School Inc

attn: postal match

PO Box 1073

Dickson, TN 37055

I figure if it gets good response, I will try one a month with a different criteria (maybe rifles or a new scenario).

So you want me to run this little bitty target out to 45 feet and shoot it 5 times in no time limit?

I am going to the range on Sunday, so I will give it a shot with all 3 of my handguns.

What the heck, it's only $.40 for the stamp.

I believe I will try this as well! What the heck! All I can do is miss!

I've already got myself, Julez and LILBucket into this! heheh I don't have a chance in heck of winning..not enough time on the range this past year...but I WILL participate!!

remember, you have to get an NRA certified range officer to sign off on your target when you're done shooting!

personally, I think this is awesome!

hahaha brian, I know what you mean...

I didn't have a range to go to, but I did measure off 15 yards, took my time and took 5 shots...

3 hit

I've gotta get better...I need more range time

Well, I shot the target today, but I don't think I will send it in. At 45 feet that thing looked like an index card so I didn't do so hot.

How did I miss you at the range? By the way, thread started about todays event!

You weren't looking on lane #2 in the large side. I am not a small guy so I am not hard to miss. I was shooting next to the 2 police officers and the 1 trainee. 3 to 1 lane. I am seriously affraid if they considered the trainee good when he was having problems hitting at 15 and 20 feet. 7 feet he did "excellent" on.
