Busse knife goodness

I've got a knife problem. They are more addictive than guns (to me at least). Busse Combat knives are my favorites. They are built like a tank and shaving sharp, with great edge retention. Here are a couple. The top one is a SAR-6 with black and green G-10 scales and the bottom one is a Bushwhacker Mistress with black canvas micarta scales. For reference, the SAR-6 is 12.5 inches overall.

I also like the SAR-6. However, both are incredibly nice.

In regards to having a knife problem, I am slowly getting one for fixed blades. I am contemplating on getting a CR Professional Soldier.

It's really sad, but its contagious. Once I've picked one of Freds up, I've felt the pull for one for myself. Now its time to start hiding money under the mattress until I can afford one!

I have come to realize one important thing when it comes to knives. They are a helluva lot cheaper than 1911s. Spending a few hundred here or there is a lot less stressful than a few thousand.

That CR Professional Soldier I was contemplating on buying is no longer an issue since I ordered one. I will do a post when I get it.

Very nice. Love those grips.

Question. How do y'all think those compare to the CR Pacific, Warrior, or Green Beret? Comparable?

Mav,

I think you are talking apples to oranges here, I love Chris Reeve knives and will get all three that you mention here. The two makers just have different styles The folks that I know that own both would trust any task to each of them and looks come in more to play in the comparison in my opinion. I personally feel that Jerry Busse and Chris Reeve make some of the best knives in the world anyone should be happy to own either

I handled a Pacific Chris Reeve in Rotterdam, I would make that my next Chris Reeve if I were you
