Herman Cain - Presidential Exploratory Committee

I am easily fooled. For about a year around 1998 I was foolish enough to think that John McCain would make a good president, but then learned enough about him to change my mind.

Perhaps the same could happen learning more about Herman Cain, but I've heard him sub for Neal Boortz on the radio and read some of his writing. At the moment I like the fellow.

He is quick enough of wit to easily debate the other repub candidates or Obama. Most of his political positions of which I'm aware, I like. Perhaps he is not smarmy enough to be a successful politician? Perhaps he would be viewed at too radical by too many voters?

If this country is to survive as we know it we must elect someone who understands and believes in the free enterprise system and divorce ourselves from these career politicians. Herman Cain is articulate enough and has the business background we need to turn the country around. Boortz had a list of good things that would come with Cain as a candidate. The one I remember is that the race card would be long gone if Cain were to become a serious candidate.

Side note: It is going to be interesting, hearing the squeals from the unions and liberals when someone actually comes up with a plan to cut some spending, borrowing to spend.

I have listened to him on the radio many times and I am very excited that he has decided to run for President.

I would vote for him.

So far he's got my vote. From what I've heard of him on the radio, plus him taking Clinton to task about health care 20 years ago make me like him. Plus, liberals HATE him. If ever there was an endorsement for someone, that's it.

He'll probably get there soon. I listen to him occasionally while driving through Paris, TN towards Bruceton.

Don't know the channel but he is interesting to hear.

That's a huge problem with politics every time the Democrats use the race card. Republicans need to

walk right by or dismiss it instead of cowering to it. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be insignificant

over night.

So far, he is my favorite contender for President in '12. Showing up in Wisconsin yesterday was brilliant!! Excellent speaker and has a clear idea of political realities as well as foreign and domestic policy issues. The only fear is that the Republican establishment doesn't like him since he didn't come up the Republican ranks and is won't be controlled by the Party elite. All the more reason for MY support, though!

As far as Herman Cain goes, I like him. Unfortunately, it seems that the candidates that I like never seem to win the nomination. If by some chance he does win, I can't wait for the usual Uncle Tom, ain't got no slave blood in him, and he ain't down for the struggle claims to be spewed about in the media. Its funny how all those who decry racism are the very ones who are master practitioners.

They have already started brother. The left lambasted him after his speech at CPAC.

He is the right man for the job at the right time . He's not a career politician, but has had a successful career and knows how to get things done . I know he's pro 2nd amendment ,pro fair tax ,and pro limited government . Those are the three biggest issues for me. out of all the names tossed around hes the best person for the job .
