It looks as if you have a parts gun. The toggle seems to have a navy rear sight that doesn't match. There should be matching seriial numbers on all of the parts. I'm trying to remember where they all are. Under the barrel ring, front of frame, on the toggle, inside the sideplate. These should all match the frame serial. Any of them that do not are replacements. It is very involved checking out a proper luger. This is just the start. A non-matching gun can be a great shooter but will have no collector value. My dad has several luger books and mother has done extensive searches to value his collection for sale.

Actually I think this 3 crown stamp classifies it as a German Navy luger.

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe you're right about it being a parts gun...the serial # ends with a "43", several parts are stamped with a the "43" but several aren't as well.
