Oh, you are absolutely right about that. But 50 years down the line I think things will end up the same whether we just open the borders or require everyone to come in legally. If they do have to apply and come in, that is what they will do. The end result will be the same. We may feel morally better about making them do that, but it ain't gonna make no difference. That horse is already out of the barn. IMHO, the border fence is a total waste of money. You could slow things down a bit by cracking down on companies hiring illegals, but the end result will be the same down the line.

All of the viable candidates have pretty much the same view on immigration. But that's only one issue.I'll decide on the basis of other issues.

Looking at the delegate count, right now even Romney still has more delegates projected than Huckabee and McCain is more than 2/3 of the way to wrapping up the nomination.

Obama now has more projected delegates than Clinton.

So what are you saying dude? You not gonna vote at all?? Or are you going to vote against your 2A rights? I'll argue that not voting is as good as voting FOR Obama or Hillary......

Just my opinion, but I'd like to hear some more reasons for not voting for McCain.......

...and on the immigration issue..I am glad there was no one here when my ancestors came seeking freedom and a better living to turn them back. I have no problem with immigrants coming in and supporting their families AS long as they pay their way. (Which is the problem...)
