When I woke up Saturday it was cold and rainin...........er, I mean, it was too late to make the match. Yeah, it was too late.

Drove out to CHR&PC today just for the heck of it, to see what I could see in daylight. Gates closed, figured they would be. Went home & my membership card/gate pass had arrived in the mail. If only my postman had been more on the ball!

We had 21 dedicated IDPA shooters today. Plenty of help setting up and tearing down 6 stages. We wrapped up at about 1:30. The scores are posted on www.rangeissafe.com

Too bad you had to work Adam, it wasn't that bad until the wind started blowing.

Yeah that fat head has been around a while.He told me that he started shooting IPSC back in the late 70's out in Colorado while he was going to the gunsmith school out there.He said Ross Seyfreid shot at the same club.I saw he was shooting a 3 inch 625 in the video.They did not make many of those.

Stopped by to see what goes on at a meet. They had some great stages set up. Lots of barricades for the shooter to move to and around. One stage had two moving targets. Might have to give it a try next month. Looks like a lot of fun.

I have thought about trying to participate, but it seems like it would be a little cost prohibitive for me. I only have 3 mags, and I don't think my mag holder is legal (the standard XDgear holder). That plus the cost of ammunition could make for an expensive day. I may stop by next time to see how things go.
