One Week And Counting...

In the next week, my wife Kimber deploys to Iraq.

While I have been to that lovely desert oasis several times, this will be my wife's first overseas tour.

She is a combat medic in the TN National Guard. What worries me, is she will be escorting convoys out of Iraq on a daily basis. Again, having been there, I know how the lowlife insurgents operate, and only worry that they will try to make "a statement" by hitting as many convoys as they can when the U.S. forces withdraw from Iraq.

I ask all my fellow TGO members to keep her and her fellow soldiers in your prayers, as they (the 230th) help us finish what we started March 20th, 2003........
