All -

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I work downtown in the IT field for a healthcare organization. I think my boss is a gun nut, but I'm not sure. He doesn't like to get below 2000 rounds of .223. If he does, he starts feeling squeamish and uneasy and makes us count back-up tapes.

I went through LEO training in Florida in 1997 (long story) and got the privilege of getting to shoot two thousand rounds through a .38 revolver then moved to a .40 Semi Auto S&W, where we did about 3000. One of the trainers was a retired Quanitico trainer taking it easy in FLA. I wish I remembered his name, he was such a nice guy. He was amazingly patient and was a stickler for technique and form. That doesn't mean any of that rubbed off on me though.

I am looking forward to getting more proficient by shooting IDPA, that is if HogNutz doesn't try to caress my face. He is always wanting to know if you've shaved or not. Luckily, my facial hair is not grey and my skin pasty.

Glad to be on here!

Thanks,

Tim

John Michael - Maybe I could put an apple on my head and you could demo your skillz.
