Has anyone had any dealings with model1sales.com? Some of their uppers for AR's seem to cheap to be good or to good to be true. Let me know. Thanks.

There are plenty other places to get AR components. If it's too good to be true, it usually is.

I've evidently been lucky when I used them in the past, but it was for specific parts, not an

upper or a gun. If it's 6.8 stuff, stay away. Wrong specs on the barrels.

JSE Surplus has always been good for me. And a hundred others:D

I built a M4-gery on a M1 Sales kit and a Century receiver about six years ago. It has been reliable and accurate. Their prices are comparable to other job-lot dealers like J&T, M&A, etc. My bolt, carrier and barrel have NSNs on them, so they are mil-spec.

Modelone had some problems a few years back. My experience a few months ago was great. I placed my order on the internet, and followed up with a phone call a couple of days later. My upper was already built and headed for shipping. The girl at Modelone told me they try to get them out the door in two days.
