OKY DOKY guys , I think I have settled on the M&P9 full size
;) You won't regret it. I just recently switched over to a M&P9c for EDC (got the whitish lettering on the slide) Couldn't be happier.

All of my M&Ps have "CAUTION-CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED" on the slide. My M&P9 has "Pro Series" in script on the left side of the slide. All of other markings are roll-marks with no coloring.

Mine doesn't have that because it came with a mag safety. I hope I don't shoot myself now that the mag safety is gone.

I thought with the hoopla about these horrible white markings, it had to be something other than the mag safety warning. You guys don't remember the old days of Smith and Wesson using the sides of the slides as billboards? ;)

I missed that, and I'm glad.

UPDATE: Guys I ran into a deal I couldnt refuse . I was "iffy" on the past problems of the M&P and I am sure the problems have gone away . So while out browsing today I ran into a light-skinned brother of a "buddy" that I have now (G-17OD). I went with a NEW in the box G19 in OD !!! I love these things and now that they are discontinued you dont see many new in the box anymore . Here he is .....

The Glock 19 is a fine gun and won't let you down. You kind of did a 90-degree turn on your thought process, but that's cool.
