Nerd warning - Everquest MMO thread inclosed

So on February 15th Sony will be launching a time locked classic Everquest server. I know some here have played it in the past, so giving a heads up for those that might be interested in having a fresh start on a server that will begin with classic EQ, and progress from there.

Sony has made quite a few changes for this server to make it a better experience for returning and nostalgia players, all the info will be on the forums.

Same here! I used to play World of Warcraft 6-10 hrs a night. My wife was oh so close to killing me. I finally had to break the addiction by removing the game from my computer and seperating all the discs.

Sounds like you understood more then the code breakers working on the Japanese code in WWII working on the JN 25.

I used to play Everquest and World of Warcraft. The problem is, I am to dam good at them. I got rich in both games and I had quit for my old good.

When I play games like that, I play to win. I always ended up in top level raiding guilds that required many hours of nightly playing to keep your status/rank and the ability to earn new improved raiding gear. It turned into a second job with no benefits other then watching pixels on the screen. I finally quit and have been quit for a year now.

It is funny, I have been quit for a year and people at work that still play, I over hear them talk, they still don't have the gold that I had. They have past my level now, only because new levels have been released recently since I quit.
