If you are of the praying type, please send yours to Spc. Nathan Carse and his family.

Even if you're not of the praying type, please curse the cowards who decided to lay a roadside bomb in his path. Make your curses count.

very sorry to hear this. My brother was nearly killed by an IED during his 2nd tour in Iraq. He was the only person in the Humvee that lived.

He gave up an easy life as an engineer with an MS degree to enlist - he followed his calling. I'm proud to have called him friend and brother, and I appreciate all your good wishes towards him. Spc. Carse was with 2nd Engineers when he was killed.

Again, thank you. I don't know whether any of it matters, but I want my brother to be sent off in the best way. Those who have done what little they can are my friends, and I love them.
