New Old Revolver

I bought this Revolver last night from a brother at the Lodge. He wanted to just get rid of it and offered it to me for $75. He has owned it for about 7 years and has never shot it. They guy he bought it from was the original owner and said he shot it some when he first got it, and put away. It is in the original box and looks to be in good shape. I am not the biggest fan of Rossi but for $75 I couldn't pass it up. I see a purchase like this as a small investment. Here in Memphis I can turn around and sell this thing for $200 - $300 if I ever need the money. I think I will hang on to it for a while.....might be a good Truck gun.

I am wanting to get some grips for this pistol. Does anyone know if "J Frame" grips will fit?

I'll pretty much buy any hand gun priced to me under $100 - lol.

I have one similar, but not all pretty and shiny. Belonged to the FIL, I gave the MIL way more than that for it just so I could hold on to it for one of my kids to get something from their grandfather (who died well before they were born).

yeah, on the right side of the frame, directly beneath the cylinder is written "MADE IN BRAZIL THE GARCIA CORP. WASH. D.C."
