Anyone heard of EMS discounts?

I heard from someone that firearm manufactuers give discounts to EMT/Paramedics. I would love to know if this is true. Let me know if you know anything. Thanks!

OMB's Express Police Supply - Distributor of 5.11 Tactical Equipment has a First Responder section for firearms. Prices look pretty good.

I do believe they give EMS discounts. They definitely give LE/MIL discounts as well. I know their standard size Glocks sell for $397 and just shy of $450 out the door. I recently let my ability to get discounts expire because I never used it.

The Glock discount defines "first responders" pretty broadly and I believe they do include EMS personnel. You may check Sig and Smith & Wesson as well. A collegue of mine pointed out to me that Glock includes district attorneys and assistant district attorneys. Too bad the rest of us lawyers have to pay full price.

YES express police supply gives discounts to EMS, LEO, retired, MEL, and others... they have some good deals sometimes, get e-mails all the time for glocks and smith M&P's, also have sig... fairly good deals looks like...never purchased anything from them... also just for fun, oakley has a webssite that offers discount gear

They have a limited subset of the full Bud's catalog. Apparently a lot depends on the individual manufacture. Firefighter or EMS including volunteer qualify for most.
