I am totally there because the are furnishing new toys I have not played with and the ammunition to play with them. I assume these will be the new 9mms they are producing now?

Look forward to seeing you at the match. These are the new 9mms that are just now being imported. It is an awesome deal - CaracalUSA is ponying up over $5000 in cash, 12 guns, and around 20,000 rounds of ammo. Garufa - if you have not shot IDPA or USPSA before, expect to be sucked into a great sport.

You speak the truth for sure. Myself and several other TGOer's got sucked into the vortex this past Sat at the MCTS - IDPA Intro Match. The intro format took a lot of the first time jitters out of the equation.

Definitely going back. :D

$25.00 and they furnish the guns and ammo. The chance to win guns and cash. Why would anybody pass this up?

Hey Trekbike - Ya'll sign up for the afternoon squad. You can drive over in the morning (< 2.5 hours from Nashville), shoot in the afternoon, get your prizes and be home by 9:30

Interesting. I am not a member yet over at the ORSA but considering it. I have a person willing to sponsor me. I should consider seeing if I could do this.

vontar - Now the ORSA is a really fine range, and the annual price is a real bargain, but you do NOT have to be an ORSA member to shoot this match. Just come on down.

I just renewed my second year dues at ORSA. It's a great place!

+1 to that. This will be my 3rd year there and I have no complaints (except for a handful of idiots who like to shoot holes in the wood posts on the bench range). Well worth $120 per year.

If you are interested in shooting this match, do not hesitate - as of 1 March, only 50 slots remain, and I don't think they will last 3 weeks, if that. As if you needed more reason to shoot this match, besides the $5000 cash and 12 guns that will be given away, the firearms and free ammo that is provided for the match, and the opportunity to shoot the Caracals, additional prizes from Bladetech and 5.11 are going to be given way. Please go to orsaap.com for more information and a match application.

Sent my entry form today! I have not shot a match at ORSA in a long time, but who could pass this one up. New gun to play with and free ammo, now that is my idea of fun. The way the prize distribution is set up everybody has a more than fair chance to win something, and even if you don't you still get a fun day on the cheap. See you at the match!

Offer to pay her match fees and both of you shoot. Anniversary to remember. I think the first or second anniversary is lead.

If you didn't show up, you missed a helluva match!! $25.00 and you got to shoot free ammo and guns ! I won a stage and got $100.00 plus finished 4th overall and won a gun!! CaraCal USA really stepped up to the plate. Blade-Tech gave away holsters to gun winners along with some badass t-shirts. 5.11 gave away alot of shootin' stuff. ORSA gave up it's normal match day to put on the match. And finally, to 2Alpha ( Mark Levy) had to out ya, for putting it all together!! Without you it wouldn't have happened. Great Job ! These Caracal pistols rock !

The match was a lot of fun! The pistol was not bad at all, it ran hard all day, and I saw one that got so hot the RO dunked it in ice water so the next shooter could hold it. I had never shot steel challenge before, and that was an eyeopener! Who would have thought those plates could look that small.

Thanks to Caracal USA and ORSA for hosting the event, good job guys!
