Yep, you can get Memphis style BBQ, Khicago Style Pizza and I would imagine Knew York hot dogs also.

Point was, I eat at Neely's when I'm in Memphis.

Man, Old Chicago and Jets pizza both mentioned here.

Those chain stores can fool most people, but the sad thing is that there is no real Chicago style pizza around here.

Your best bet is to just order a Lou Malnatis bake your own or fly to Chicago ;)

Man, i need to book a work trip to Chicazakstan......Lou Malnati's is fantastic........However, for a chain, Jet's gets our $$$ at least once a week.

I love good pizza and haven't found good CHICAGO-STYLE in Nashville yet.

However, Joey's House of Pizza in Brentwood is some awesome NEW YORK style pizza. They have flaky hours, but definitely the best pizza I have had south of the Ohio river…

I grew up in Indy and traveled often to Chicago and am a big fan of the pizza. There are several places in Indy as good as Chicago, but alas, I've found none here. My wife gave me a bread maker so I make my own. Here's the recipe I use, the only difference is I add beer to the dough instead of water. Pizza Recipe : Chicago Style Pizza

Get to NY Pie soon nicemac.

Will definitely have to try it soon. Looking at reviews online, it looks like it just opened within the past month or so? Reviews seem split. I will try it and see!

Thanks Daniel!

+1 on the good pizza is hard to find around here. So far, Joey's House of Pizza is the ONLY place I have found to be GOOD. I am looking forward to trying NY Pie. Then I would have TWO.

Only pizza shop I know that closes before 6 pm. They do because they can, the pie is so good, people change their schedule around to be able to get pizza from there. Great NY style. Would have mentioned it when I mentioned Jet's, but didn't think the OP was interested in NY style.

So I went to NY Pie today for lunch. Decent, nothing to get excited about. Yes, it is better than Pizza Hut or Papa John's, etc…

When Joey's is closed (weekends) I might drive all the way over there, but I would definitely not drive past an open Joey's House of Pizza to get there.

I found out over the weekend that soon, the beautiful City of Gallatin will be the home of an authentic Chicago Style pizza parlor on the Public Square in the historic Suddarth Building. I was speaking to a young man, from Chicago who said his family was setting it up. I can't comment, yet, on the quality of their product but as soon as it opens, I'll be happy to give you my review.

Wow. See I don't think much of Joey's.

Had "Papa's" in H'ville deep dish last Friday as take out and it was decent. Not Chicago but one of the better, non-chain deep dish I've had around here.

They have a good cheese steak there, too.
