FINALLY GOT IT TODAY... found this guy on glocktalk. he makes his version of the crossbreed type, but only charges $50 shipped. The shipping was quick! I'll let the pictures do the talking.

This thing is comfortable... sitting, standing, whatever, it feels good! I've handled the crossbreed, and this is very similar quality considering it's a one man show running this small business venture. If you want his info, let me know I have an old post on this holster but for some reason it won't let me update it.

It's been 2 days, so i guess no one cares.. I thought more people would be interested in a crossbreed type of holster without the cost.... Guess I was wrong.

looks pretty nice, there are a few other makers of these type holsters.I wear a Supertuck myself but would more than likely purchase a different makers holster. At around 30% cheaper he should do well. Some of the bigger names have had a hard time keeping up with demand.

this is exactly my thought... not only did I pay $50, but I got it in 4 days. Unlike crossbreed who's normal time is 3 weeks plus

I can walk into D&T and grab a crossbreed in a minute. Only special orders take 2 weeks.

I love D&T as much as the next guy, but what you cannot do is help out a fellow enthusiast who enjoys the work, and only pay $50.. sorry. D&T's prices are good, don't get me wrong, but they can only come to 79+tax.. so it was worth the 4 day wait. To each his own.

Here's another pretty good alternative to CB holsters ...

Old Faithful Holsters

Sponsor of KahrTalk (another board I belong to) If you use "Kahr" at checkout, you get $10 off (atleast you still did about a month ago last I checked) [$35/each is hard to beat]

They also have DIY kits for $20 bucks :2cents: Not as flashy, but they automatically come with the "Combat" Cut ;)

Looks nice, I just couldn't stand to carry a pistol in that position. I can't carry anywhere but on my right side, plain simple and old school. AWESOME looking work though.

you're right, it's all about the preference. I do not carry all my guns over my wallet like that. My XD subcompact I carry on the side as well as most of my others. the 1911 just has a little bit of a hefty nature to it, so the "over the wallet" carry spot works best when trying to conceal.
