Rivergate Mall...Nashville Area

I went to Rivergate mall today after doing some target practice at G&L. I went through the Sears entrance that I always go through even before I got my HCP. No posting there. Needed to go to Radio Shack to pick something up. As soon as you leave Sears going into the mall area...the code of conduct is there. Not a legal posting at all. It states that you cannot carry or display a weapon unless you are a LEO, I think it is like number 15 on the list. Nothing about the TCA code, fine, , etc...not even closely worded to the TCA code. Didn't see one security guard, like they do or could do anything anyways except ask me to leave. Like I said before...I think it's just for insurance purposes anyways.

Some of you that have read my other post know that the one thing that pushes my buttons the most are no gun signs. Malls are a creature i have yet to hear of a way to approach. Like razor said almost all malls have that in their code of conduct. You can say all you want not to shop there but what to they care they get paid by the stores not from you.

I have heard that a us court ruled that a company who had a policy banning weapons would then have to protect its customers and would be liable if someone who could have legally protected themselves were injured or killed because they could not fight back. After the mall shooting in oklahoma i heard they immediately took down those signs so maybe they were worried about the same thing.

Anybody here know if that court decision really exist?
