Purchased a new vehicle and have to get a new license plate. Since there isn't a state issued TGO plate considering the TN NRA license plate. Like to support NRA however at same time am I giving away to much by having one. I don't show Handgun Carry Permit when I have to show ID,always carry concealed and just concerned about letting bad guys know and loose what little element of surprise there might be. Anyway have one and if so why? Considered and decided against if so why? Any reasonable thoughts on subject appreciated

I wouldn't have one for exactly the reasons you mentioned. It's just like having a "Got Sig" or a "Glock Shooting Team" sticker on your back window, IMHO.

Nope, don't have one nor will get one.

Same reason I don't wear gun related t-shirts and hats out in the general public...I want to blend in.

I've considered one. I also have an NRA member decal on the back glass of my truck at the moment. I think there is a pretty big disconnect between the idea that something might happen because of a sticker or license plate, and the odds of something actually happening because of the same. To each their own I guess.

Hmmmm, All my vehicles have 12" high " I want to kill everyone" on the back windows . Thought I might tell everyone that I am kidding. Although in Memphis I always kept gun stickers on my trucks. It can work as a deterrent. Most criminals want the easiest targets.
