Federal judge rules Obamacare unconstitutional

"I note that in 2008, then-Senator Obama supported a health care reform proposal that did not include an individual mandate because he was at that time strongly opposed to the idea, stating that, 'If a mandate was the solution, we can try that to solve homelessness by mandating everybody to buy a house,'" Judge Vinson wrote in a footnote toward the end of his 78-page ruling Monday.

Funny how the Reagan appointed Judge uses BHO's own words in the ruling. I believe he was running against Hillary at the time and she was for a mandate so of course he had to oppose it.

Obamacare is a disaster, the economy still lagging behind and the way he's handling Egypt (or rather not handing) once again shows how incompetent and clueless this poor excuse for a president he really is.

Let's not forget about Biden being cited by BHO as the foreign policy expert to make up for any shortcomings of his own. :)

Still screwed and if Egypt is ruled by muslim extremists, we are even more screwed.

On a brighter note we can look forward to another Republican President to clean up the mess again in 2012.

Obama didn't write the legislation. He had a laundry list of items, and handed it off to his idiots in congress. What I'm sayin'... he could have still felt that way when the bill was rolled up, and just had to live with it. Not defending him, because he got behind it when it was done. Just saying that hanging out with douchebags can make you look like one.

Oh, that explains why the media said his last SOTU speech was "Reagan-esque" :taunt:. Since the Nov. election was historically against his policies he now is no longer hanging with douchebags, ha, ha.

Take that analogy and apply it to his healthcare bill and see if he gives up on pushing it down our throats.

All he needs to do is agree with the ruling and if needed tell Harry Reid to let the house bill come to the senate.

Not gonna happen.

He's still hanging with douchbags. Just fewer of them. The point I was trying to make is that he would have gone along with a mandate, even if he didn't quite agree with it. I'm pretty sure that's the only way they were able to pay for it.

He may HAVE to give up pushing it down our throats. I'm thinking if the unconstitutional ruling sticks, the funding for a lot of it is gonna fly apart. I don't know for sure... still haven't read the bill.

From Tea Party Patriots,

The House is in recess until February 7th (more details on that below) but the Senate is in session and things are happening there.

It looks as though Sen. McConnell has determined a way to force Sen. Reid to allow a full repeal vote in the Senate today or tomorrow!!

The GOP is going to try to use the Federal Aviation Administration reauthorization, S 223, as a vehicle for repealing the 1099 provision of Obamacare. The Senate Republicans will add an amendment to S223 and the amendment will be to repeal ObamaCare.

The following are the best Senators to call to encourage to vote for the repeal of government controlled health care.

Bingaman, Jeff (D-NM): (202) 224-5521

Casey, Robert P. (D-PA): (202) 224-6324

Manchin, Joe (D-WV): (202) 224-3954

McCaskill, Claire C. (D-MO): (202) 224-6154

Nelson, Bill (D-FL): (202) 224-5274

Nelson, Ben (D-NE): (202) 224-6551

Tester, Jon (D-MT): (202) 224-2644

Webb, James H. (D-VA): (202) 224-4024

With the federal judges' rulings against Obamacare, and all the arm twisting to get votes, it can

be repealed, or it will make a lot of lawmakers look silly. That can get more Republicans elected.

Sometimes battles can take longer than a news cycle, so don't give up before a good foundation

is set. Yes, even some Republicans need to be voted out, but at the right time.

Don't count the Tea Party movement out because some bozo on a news show said so. They are

"we the people" and I hope "we" never forget it.

It's interesting that Beck pulled out a video that showed that while Obama was campaigning for

healthcare reform without a single payer system, the video showed him addressing an SEIU meeting

and flatly stating he was solidly behind the single payer system. Cake and eat it,too moment, eh?

On a side note, sounds like I am exempt from obamacare. Seems like their is a list of exemptions and "The United Food and Commercial Workers" is on that list. And guess where I get my insurance from?

I don't know if the BLE got an exemption, but the UTU (conductor's union) did. I don't

care who got the damned exemption because it's wrong and should be repealed.

The damage will have been done, with or without exemption, because it changes the playing

field for insurance companies and forces the survivors to compete against the Obama Insurance

Agency, and them ain't good hands.

All those so-called "Cadillac plans" will become "Yugo plans" and the deductibles will be through

the roof. My "Cadillac plan" sucks, already.
