Nothing beats using multi-billion dollar satellites to find Tupperware in the woods!

Its a ton of fun an wished I would do it more as it does give you a nice workout from the walk then the minutes you wander around tryin to find the cache lol

I take my 8 yr old and he loves it. He thinks of it like a treasure hunt. I use a DeLorme and it works quite well. There have been a few that I stopped early because I felt we were encroaching.

My grandsons and I have tracked down about 5 locations. One in Lawrenceville Ga was easy because it was in a public type park. But one here on TWRA land near Hixson is hidden in a tiny container, hidden somewhere in a tree. We have found the tree several times but never the actual cache.

Check the website to see when the last time it was founds....sometimes caches can go missing.

I've been doing it for several yers now. However, I think my GPS is in the blink. Won't stay on for more than a few minutes, even with new batteries. Probably need to get a new one. I took my grandson out once and he absolutely loved it.

I placed one out near the Obed National Park, but once I converted the container from Tupperware to a ammo can, it didn't last long. I guess someone needed an ammo can.

Yeah I've noticed ammo cans end up going AWOL more often. I like using the Lock & Lock containers when I place a cache. They're the Tupperware type with the gasket on the lid to help keep them sealed up.
