Only 9 more weeks

till turkey season. Only 8 more weeks till the youth turkey hunt. I'll be feeding about 100 pounds of corn per week till 10 days prior. I got to make sure the big flock stays on our place. Time to start tuning up the calls and packing up the vest. I am sure there is something turkey hunting related that I need to get for this season...

8 more weeks till I can call to a gobbler and I already have the fever. It's going to be bad this year. The wife better make sure there are plenty of ear plugs in the house.

Happily. I am lucky enough to have a couple of hunting partners that are very good at it.

I'm excited this year. I have 5 farms loaded with turkeys and some real nice ones to. If anyone is wanting to go with me they are more than welcome, I'm not greedy. It would make me just as happy if I took someone and they killed a turkey.

My main problem is, when turkey opens I'm way too ready to grab my crossbow and get after pigs!

I am pretty stoked about turkey season, too... I have my new Pardner Pump that I am dying to try out this year. I have bought about a half-dozen loads to pattern, if I can just get a day off that it isn't raining or snowing and I don't have that friggin cold that's going around!!
