For the Hockey fans here, is anyone watching this All Star game? If your a fan of Staal then this is your game. I however, am a Redwings fan so I'm for Lidstroms team but unfortunately, he picks Fluery for a goalie who in the first 5 mins of the game let in 4 goals. Lisdstorms team just scored but this is Hockey, it's like watching them play with their sister NO HITTING. I sure hope this game gets better then it has started out as. Honestly, I hope they pull Fleury out of goal to, everyone has bad games but in the All Star game shouldn't be a bad game day for you. This obviously is just my opinion and in no reflection to how reality works.

Lol, I didn't get into Hockey big until I got older, my set team was always the Redwings but as for actually watching games it was a couple years ago before that happened. I didn't really understand the point of the game until I sat threw a whole game. It's hard enough to ice skate but to do so with a broom stick smacking around something no bigger than a biscuit with precision all the while someone is trying to knock the **** out of you to me is just talent. Pavel Datysuk if you watch a youtube video of some of the things he does with a puck it's just amazing that it can be done. Then of course you got the fights who doesn't love a good hockey fight, at least those of us who watch it.

its an all star game.......no rough stuff, no hitting, no fighting. Who want's to lay it out there when there is nothing to gain? Why risk getting injured and then possibly missing out on the chance to obtain the holy grail? All star hockey is :) boring. The best thing to watch is the skills competition IF they broadcast it. As for Fluery, if I was a Stanley Cup winning goalie, don't think I'd exert myself all that much either. Who needs a groin pull or some other needless injury. Wait for the good stuff to pick back up, catch it Versus (knology channel 145). That's all I have to say about that.....

Hockey lesson young grasshopper......the puck is referred to as a "Biscuit" and the goal is referred to as the "Basket". SO, you try to put the biscuit in the basket......stay tuned for more educational knowledge offered by the fatboy.

FTNCityfatboy is right on. They aren't going to hit much in the all star game because nobody wants to go back to the regular season hurt. As a result, the goalies don't get a lot of defensive help. It's fun to watch, but you have to keep it in perspective. It doesn't mean anything.

The skills competition was fun, Weber had the second hardest shot. About 104 MPH.
