Just put the first 50 rounds through my new SIG Compact Stainless. This gun feels SO RIGHT in my hands! The balance of weight and recoil is perfect. I've been away from guns for several years so I'm not sure what is acceptable accuracy. I only shot from 7 yards and I put 11 in the X and 3 in the 10 ring. Is that decent for 7 yards? At this point I wouldn't hesitate to fill my house with SIG 1911's!! I'll put a couple hundred rounds through it and see if my opinion changes.

That is good to hear. I have heard mixed feedback on Sig 1911's but I think most of the negative came from earlier versions and maybe they have ironed out the troubles with them. Obviously I am a Sig guy and I could see a Sig 1911 in my future if I felt they were as reliable as the P series. Thanks for the report.
