No one ever mentions Old Knox Pawn. $15 transfer + $10 TICS.....$25 total. I have transferred many there.

Ken Hawkins is the owner, Steven and Ron also good guys.

As of yesterday his fee is still just $30 total I'm sure that's what his website means. I told them I had 2 more coming and they didn't say anything about a higher fee so I think its business as usual. I did meet rebeldrummer yesterday....nice guy.

Assuming you're talking about Bill's, bottom of home page:

"We charge a $30 transfer fee. The TICS (Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Insta Check System) charges an additional $10 fee. (The total is $40). "

Bill's Transfer fees in Maryville are $20 plus background. I believe he was talking about raising it to $30 in the knoxville store. But that was still up for discussion. You all should also go check out those M1 Garands he has over there. They are beautiful.

Don't understand why he plainly says that it's $40 including TICS, then. My post above is verbatim quote from his site.

I'll find out tomorrow when I pick up my rifle, I reckon.

I just called to set up a transfer yesterday. Still $20 + $10 in Alcoa.

Yep, confirmed, $30 total today when I got my Ruger Mini. Feller there (not Bill) knew about home page and agreed it was "confusing".

Bill is having two different transfer fees. In maryville its 20+10 background. but in knoxville he is doing 30+10 because the overhead is so much more there.
