AK WEEK Chattanooga Tn March 3-6 2011

AK WEEK Chattanooga TN

For those looking for the complete package of Kalashnikov Rifle Gunfighting followed by Advanced Kalashnikov Gunfighting look no farther. Get the complete AK gunfighting classes from the "AK People".

March 3-4 will be the world renowned Kalashnikov Rifle Gunfighting class. Learn how to make the "Commie" gun work like it was designed...not try to make it work like an M4. This class will teach you not only how the gun works, and how to work the gun from different shooting positions, but also incorporates our own "Get off the X" methodology to it , malfunction clearance and transition from rifle to pistol and work on moving to and using cover and finally an intro to team drills.

The evening of March 4 we will be holding the AK Armorer class. Learn how to completely disassemble your Kalashnikov, including the bolt. We will discuss which mods really make the AK better and which ones don't. We will then look at your rifle to see if there is any "remedial" issues that can easily be fixed in class.

March 5-6 will be the Advanced Kalashnikov Gunfighting class. Picking up where KRG leaves off we delve into more bi lateral use of the AK platform. You should not have a "Weak" side, just the other side. We get off the X and shoot them to the ground, look at the rifle as an impact weapon both defensively and offensively ,work wounded shooter 1 handed manipulations, and shoot move and communicate in team drills.

Wow! Great offering for some in depth training on the AK platform. That looks like a great set of courses.

Can we look forward to a similar AR offering later in the year?

This one is just around the corner!! This is a rare opportunity to get the basic AND advanced AK class from the "AK people". We'll be teaching you how to run an AK like an AK and not trying to force M16 manipulations on it. You'll learn to appreciate it for what it is ...not curse it becasue it's levers and buttons are not in the same place as your other rifle.Throw in the armorers class on Friday night and you get a pretty complete package on how to run and disasseble, reassemble and trouble shoot the most common infantry rifle in existence.

We still have spots available and I'd like to see TN Gunowners represented in class. Hope to see you there!

I will be out of town... Just spent a month out and about to do another. I would really like to do the AK class if you give it again.

Daniel, Hopefully you'll be able to catch the next one.

We do still have spots available in all 3 classes (AK, Advanced AK and Armorer) if anyone is still considering signing up for this one.
