I had the camera out taking pictures for the 22 rifle picture contest today, so I thought I'd take some pictures of my 22 caliber handguns. Heres a photo of mine.

Nice looking group, Sid! 22s take up the bulk of my shooting, due to reasonable ammo cost and minimal recoil and noise. Here's what I currently have in 22 handguns.

An NAA revolver, a couple of Savage 101 single shots, a Heritage Arms single action, a Colt Frontier Scout, a Ruger Single Six, a GSG 1911 22, and my personal favorite: a model 18 Smith and Wesson Combat Masterpiece.

I love it! It is accurate. Not competition accurate, but more than enough so for informal target shooting. I'd invite you to come try it out. but Chattanooga's a apretty good ride from here.

Kieefer has an accurate one there; that High Standard HD. That's a quality gun.

I sure cant compete with those collections but I am very thrilled to have just Monday picked up one of these, I have not yet even had time to break it down much less shoot it. I did also order a 10-22 the same day of a plain jane nature.

My only other 22 is/was a P22 in Brushed Chrome that I gave my kid for part of his Christmas so I did need another 22 pistol for myself, and since no man should be without a 22 rifle I finally broke down and ordered one which should be in within a week or so. I am also looking for another P22 with the camo pattern on it.

This 45/22 MK III has the adjustable rear sights and a set of limited Talo grips on it.

It is also plenty "Purdy" by my standards. It was one of those that I knew I would be buying before they even handed it to me.

Even my wife, while I was expecting a bit of static said that it was "Beautiful":)

So far she has not liked anything I have to even keep on her nightstand, she mentioned that this one may be the one for that. Only a 22 but far better than nothing, so way better than any gun was that step in progress for her, final outcome to be determined of course and I did grab some HiViz front sights already for it.

I did take my own pics but either myself or my camera does not do so well so here's a stock pic that a friend found for me. I have a feeling I will be "needing" a few more of these, at least one with a longer barrel at minimum but hopefully because the wife adopts this one.

Like I said no comparrison to the collections shown but it is mine:) For now anyway:rolleyes:

I only have one 22.

I absolutely LOVE those grips Mav.:D Love them enough to buy another gun just to put them on.

I saw some very similar grips on an S&W the other day but that gun was huge and very heavy for a 22 and way out of my price range. I know you probably never will but if you should decide to sell please do let me know. That gun is simply gorgeous.:D

Guys, I can't single out any one of your 22's as the best. The are all great! I've been getting the itch for a 22 Fuger lately, just haven't found "the" one yet. But I did't impluse a GSG-22 carbine the other day and can't wait to get it out and limbered up. Still...the Rugers are calling...
