You know I think I might really like it. I don't think it is costing me in transitions and it's 2 ounces lighter than my 5 inch long dust cover, and the longer sight radius can't hurt.

Tim, You shootin a lightened 6" limited gun? cheater, cheater!!!.........I love my 6" limited gun. I can't find any draw backs to it at all.

Yeah Tim that 6" beast looks wicked, you never really followed up, how's it shoot?

Well, the 6 inch shoots really sweet, I think it shoots flatter although some say that's mathematically impossible and I understand the theory. But I'm having trouble seeing a down side to it as well, and I swear I can track the front sight better. I have only shot one match with it so far but I am very encouraged.

Good to hear, hoping to make it to an NTPS match soon and get to to see ya run it first-hand.

It's funny, my guns keep getting longer, I used to think a 5" 1911 was huge, but seems the longer I shoot and the further i get from mall-ninja-mindframe towards real-shooter-mindframe (at least i'd like to think so) the more things are starting to "click", I'd think a 6" would be really fun with the added weight up front and the longer sight radius...

I too shoot a Benny Hill long slide. I agree with Tim on being able to track the sights better. Hoping to be back next match. I gotta try one with a Bull barrel.

I think a light 6" handles better than a heavy 5" when it comes to fast, close transitions and the added sight radius is great when the shots get tight. I don't think I would really like a bull in a 6". That's putting a lot of weight out front it just seems to me it would be hard to get real agressive swinging it. But what do I know?

Yeah, except with a normal plug you're not capturing a sharp round hollow-plug with your thumb while letting it out, mine is as sharp as a blade, just round...

That's why God made bushing wrenches!

Yeah, I thought about doing a bushing but ended up with the bull. It's a fluted barrel but moreover it is really lightened up front. The balance point is a good 3/4 of an inch farther back toward the grip than my 5 inch. Comparing it to Brad's fat free Benny gun, I think it feels every bit as light at the nose and I think my gun might be lighter in general. It weighs just 36oz.

But you know, no matter if it's the 5", 6" bushing, or 6" bull.........I think they are all capable of winning the nationals and in my case it is the driver that is the weak link. Fix the driver and any one of these incredible guns can win.

Well, I hope you do make it out one day. And yeah, mall-nijas can't shoot worth
