They are simple, but there are many like the M&P and XD that are even easier to dissasemble.... and saferto boot.

M&Ps are easier to take apart? Guess you've never taken the firing pin safety plunger out of one.

The extended slide lock...easy enough to do for an amateur? This is one of the few mods I want to do to all of mine.

Easiest mod ever.

Extended slide LOCK, or extended slide STOP? These are actually two different parts. It's important that you make the distinction, because one mod is extremely easy, while the other is...well...just really, really easy. :)

I always do the .25 cent trigger job in conjunction with a thorough treatment of Militec when I get a "new to me Glock". Tie these in with a 3.5 lb connector and it makes shooting a Glock so much better for me, my wife, and my sons. It usually takes about an hour of work to get it right. Polishing the metal parts until they are glass smooth and then heating the Militec soaked areas with a hairdryer just takes time. I wouldn't recommend this trigger set up to anyone new to guns but, I won't have one without doing this.

My 12 year old usually does the work now while I supervise and to stop the thread from drifting, let me say....

My finger doesn't go on the trigger until I'm ready to fire so it doesn't matter if I have 2lb pull or a 22lb pull. ;)
