I recently acquired a Remington 887 Nitro Mag Tactical. Let me start off by saying I love the look of this shotgun. The action is smooth, there are no issues with the finish or anything else I can see. I haven't shot it yet as I just got it today, but I am curious if anyone has or has had one of these and what your opinions of them are. I have read reviews and what-not from the web and I am only interested in opinions of people whom have/have had one and can give me their personal experiences. Thanks guys.

I bet 3 1/2" shells are a real pleasure to shoot out of it.

I'm not sure yet, but I am looking forward to finding out. ;)

The only that is holding me back on picking one up over an 870 police is lack of a recoil reducing stock option on the aftermarket

I have an 887 for turkey hunting. My grandson lit off a 3 1/2 in it and almost knocked him off his feet. I am a wimp and stick to 3".
