Adios, Kieth Olberman

So, Comcast just bought NBC (which includes MSNBC) and apparently didn't see eye to eye with Kieth Olberman, so he is no longer going to be a bews anchor there.

Funny thing is, I never watch him, and last Friday landed on his show while channel surfing. I stopped out of curiosity to see how he thinks, but could only take about 10 minutes of his blathering. If I had stuck it out, I would have witnessed his resignation.

He was and still is a jerk. Since I didn't watch his show, I couldn't have cared less whether they would have kept him or canned him. If I had the choice, I would have prefered a sulfuric acid colonic over watching his show.

FOX ought to make a run at him. Fair and balanced they claim. I enjoyed him back in the day when he was on ESPN. he is a really good broadcaster if you can get past his liberal leanings.

Unfortunately, your last sentence is correct. The Libs are looking at trying to get him to run for Joe Lieberman's seat when he retires. I would rather him still be on a TV news station with low ratings.
