Well last week we closed on our new home in the country and since then have been slowly moving in. Today while the wife was organizing our rooms I ran 250 rounds through a new Les Baer in my own backyard!! I can not tell you all how satisfying this was, it will be much better when I complete my outdoor range but this was a great day :D

I love having that luxury. Have a rolling hill out back that is an open 10 acre pasture. The way the land lays, I have a 600 yard shot opportunity, with a good backdrop. My neighbors are all hunters, except for my immediate neighbor who is an elderly widow. Rather than being frightened by the gunfire, she says it makes her feel safe knowing that we are armed and exercising!

Very nice. I would love to be able to do that.

Since nobody asked, how did the Baer shoot?
