Help me date this pistol

Does anyone have a copy of The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson?

I was recently going through some boxes of items from my grandparents that had been stored for 35 years and came across this S & W .32 long revolver.

I'd like to know when it was manufactured.

Thanks.

I have one similar to that, except its a top brake, and lemon squeeze safety.

I bought at an estate auction some years ago.

Have you ever fired it?

I called Smith with my serial number on my Grandfather's S&W Safety Hammerless in .32 short and they told me the manufacture date and the original dealer. They were very helpful.

First you need to set up a time to get together. Do you even think this pistol is interested in you? Don't be too eager. Just be yourself and have a good time.

Thanks. I wasn't sure anyone would get around to this advice. :D

Set yourself up for that one.

I wonder about what is best--do you restore it or leave it alone? It would be awesome nice and blue again.
