Training in Dickson

Does anyone know of any training classes in or around Dickson? Or even close? I am just looking for some good solid self defende and proper/safe handling techniques with pistol and shotgun. I would like to keep it local if possible. I will go where I need to but i try to support local businesses if possible.

Nothing good local. But some local guys teach here. This is a good option I'm going to try this Spring.

You'll catch heck, but I hear good things about these guys...from people I TRUST to know the real deal...I plan on training here this year too. They're in Camden.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will have to come by and check you guys out HOGNUT. I literally live right around the corner from you and listen to your music alot on the weekends. Bronker, I will have to check PRI out. I know what you mean about Tactical Response but their classes get excellent reviews and I know someone who plans to take go to them for some training.

MCTS is pretty cool. There is also Cole personal safety in Dickson. Took an Advanced pistol class last year and they were pretty good.

you can also check out Dewayne Hayes. He is out of White Bluff and runs Hayes Personal Protection Academy. Nice guy and has a web site. My wife and I took our HCP class with him and he offers other classes as well.

They have nashville contact info, but the courses are done at their private range in Hickman county. I have met Mr. Hutcherson and while I have yet to take a class, he is a very nice gentleman and did not seem the least bit asinine or arrogant. I will be taking Advanced Handgun I there later this year.
