This is 5+ minutes of what is wrong with our country folks. This crap right here. She falls into a fountain, while texting, and now wants to sue the mall because the video got posted and no one "took her feelings into consideration." Bitch go **** yourself! I can only imagine if she is this unaware while walking how bad she is while driving. I just hope she drives off a damn cliff before she runs over a kid, hits a motorcyclist, bicycler, etc.

She needs to be taken out to the wilderness and left.

That would be littering, ya know...

Too bad no one had the foresight to hold her under water a while, when she fell in... would'a solved a lot of problems.

This is the best argument we could offer for tort reform. Most of the civilized world has laws that allow this kind of idiot to sue as well, but if she loses, she has to pay for the legal fees of the other party. That alone would get rid of a lot of these frivolous lawsuits that cost innocent parties thousands of dollars to defend themselves. It's no wonder so many defendants offer settlements. It's cheaper than the court battle.

I think we should take it a step further. I think if you sue for something like this not only should you have to pay the fees of the other party, but for all costs incurred by the court system as a whole for handling your BS case.

I saw her interview this morning and my thoughts on it today are identical to those here. It's nice to see a little poetic justice come out of this. The dumb $^%* is <hopefully> going to get what she deserves. I couldn't believe that she was painting herself as a victim here instead of sucking it up and admitting she was a total moron. It will be interesting to see whether some info comes out revealing that she did this on purpose. My suspicion is that it wasn't because she would have claimed injury and hasn't.

Ya know I've watched that video several times and am convinced she walked into that fountain on purpose. Maybe it's just me but does she lift her left leg a little higher before hitting the edge and falling?

well she worked in that mall, she should have known where it was. It is not like they built it over night.

Agreed. Kinda looks that way. Given her apparent track record, this should be of no surprise to anyone. Dirtbag! Rot in jail.

I saw her interview this morning as well.

My first thoughs was trying to figure out why she would go on national teevee if she was that embarrassed. She was not easily recognizable in the security video.

Then I heard about a possible lawsuit and that explained things :D

I looked at it as feeding the bears. :D

Wouldn't it be more akin to feeding the Alligator's?

What have you got against bears???
