IDPA Postal Match

Gallatin Gun will host the IDPA Postal Match on February 12 2011. Start time around 9:30AM. Set up will start at 7:00AM. Match fees are $10 for Gallatin Members, $15 for non-members, $10 for child 12-18. Second Gun $10. Second guns must shoot different division for this match. You must have an IDPA membership and classification to be included in national scoring. Scores will be sent to IDPA. Check website for more info.

What exactly is a "Postal Match". How long will it last?

The postal match is a set of stages that get setup exactly the same for each club that hosts it. Then the scores are submitted to the match administrator. You can see how you compare against shooters all over the country without traveling to a major match.

For this match you can shoot it for fun and get a local score but for your score to be submitted you will have to be an IDPA member. I plan on being there for this one I havent been to Gallatin since all the range work and want to check that out as well.

3 hours of fun shouldn't cause a divorce, it should help the marriage. She has 3 to 4 hours of peace and quiet.

I shot there yesterday it my first time to shoot at this club and i had a great time.really good shooting bays and high berms. I was the one shooting the wheel gun and helped with the score sheets..

we had alot of fun that 4th stage clean up on isle ? after it thawed out it had more meaning than i thought ha.ha . we went and shot at brush creek today thats our local club the weather was perfect for shooting. next week i'm gonna go to mcts and shoot my classifier.i want to go to the masters so the sooner i get it the quicker i can get a spot. gonna be a busy year...
