Going tomorrow, did anyone see any firestar m 40's?

Went today, and enjoyed it. REALLY crowded when I got there (about 11:00) but thinned out after a little. Noticed a lot of 'regular' vendors with a few new ones mixed in, and quite a few guys walking around with guns they wanted to sell.

Am I the only one who walks around these shows trying to spot the TGO people there? We need to wear TGO hats or lapel pins or something so we can spot each other and say hello.

Went around noon and it was pretty good. 2 large rooms with a bunch of people carrying items for sale. A bunch of knives, picked up a SOG Twitch II but not much cheaper than online prices.

Anyways, I was there, really packed about 10-12 but it was thinning out considerably when I left. Pretty good show, but not random stuff on the tables than I like to see (holy knife city!). All in all a decent show though, I may go back tomorrow.

Much better than the small show last month by I have no idea who. Lots of items and lots of folks. Saw a lot of friends there today. Wish I could go back tomorrow...

Yeah, in fact I saw several there. I don't recall how many were on tables, but there were a two or three tables just loaded with used Smiths. Several walking around as well.

Where were you, and what kind of stuff did you have? I'd like to know who you are if I go back tomorrow.

I suppose, but don't really know for sure. There were a couple of craftsmen there I've never seen before. One was selling leather goods such as western rigs, belts, etc. Another guy had handmade turkey calls, powder horns, and stuff like that. Some may not care for it, but I'm always interested to see that type of thing. There was one guy there selling gutter guards. They shouldn't let someone like that buy a table if he isn't doing something gun or knife related.

I thought it was pretty good, it was a lot better than the one in Murfreesboro. The parking situation could have been better, thanks to the snow melting everything was mud. I liked the turn out, I saw a lot of things that I probably would have gotten if it wasn't for my wife and daughter being in tow. I didn't get to do as much wondering around as I wanted to thanks to the little one but I still enjoyed it.

I went today and it was ok. I still miss the ones in Atlanta. Not enough firearm vendors. There was no beef jerky though.

Went around 12:30. Saw a couple of TGOers, walked around for a while. Had a lot of interest in a couple of things I was selling, but no buyers. Picked up a rifle case, though. Seemed like a lot of older and milsurp guns compared to most shows.

That's what I noticed, a lot of vintage guns compared to what I saw at the Fairgrounds a few weeks ago. Saw a few old High Standard 22's like mine priced pretty high, surprised me. Didn't see many Beretta's though

I did see something that was either a joke looking for a gullible buyer or a misprint, a Charter Arms .38 snub-nose for $400, now that can't be right. There wasn't a cable around it so maybe they were hoping some thief would carry it off.

not a bad show i kinda liked it a little more laid back than other shows.just didnt like being under the heater though

The prices were a little out there on some items. I can across a clearly used Ruger P89 and asked how much the guy told me $400. My dad bought one brand new 11 years ago and it still looks brand new for $250 back then. There were a lot of revolvers and other older pistols that I would have considered as a fixer upper for myself to take on but the cheapest one I found was $200 and it was worse for wear and a brand I wasn't familiar with by any means. I ment to stop by the leather booth to see what I couldn't do about getting a holster and cartridge belt for my Ruger .30 cal Blackhawk...no one seems to make a belt for a .30 cal carbine.

I'll agree. Show was pretty good, parking was scarce muddy. Needs a better location

for space & parking tho.
