New Mossberg 22lr

I was looking around today at L&A firearms here in Union City. And I seen a Mossberg 22lr that looked like a AR. I have heard a lot about the S&W versions and the SIG versions and most of it was good. Just wondering if anyone has gotten one of these yet or used one yet? Or know anyone that has one? They were about half the price of the S&W. I have never owned a Mossberg or shot one. So I know nothing about them. But for $249 if they are decent it might be hard to beat for a plinker and beat around gun.

Thanks

Sorry Murgatory, You are right. the web site says it is a tactical 22. No idea where I got the AR thing from. How good is the 702 plinkster?

I had a regular 702 a year ago. The magazines were iffy and it was a pain to clean but it ate any kind of crappy ammo you wanted it too. As far as accuracy and what not i dont really know. it hit the bottles and cans we set up at like 25 feet pretty accuratly. Of course i only paid 75 bucks for it so i really can't complain.
