I just shot a friend of mine's last weekend. I liked it WAY better than the 250, but not as much as my P228R. For a gun that costs half as much as a 228/229--it shoots great. A little bit of a pain to take down compared to the classic series, but not so much that it can't be learned. All in all, I was pretty impressed...

It's a Sig. A good shooter. The grip was a little large for me to get real comfortable with.

Its my favorite pistol! Very highly regarded by sig fans... excellent trigger and contrary to above statement it breaks down very easy. The slide stop is a pin rather than traditional lever and is tight the first time or two. I've had mine for almost 2 years with many thousands of problem free rounds downrange. They also just came out with smaller grip but I prefer the original.

Great pistol, and frankly I'm surprised these guns are as inexpensive as they are.

Mine is a great shooter, very accurate, light recoil (in 9mm). Springs on the trigger are gentle in DA (about 8# pull) that softens with use and is light in SA (around 3.5 to 4#). The FCU on these is different than the P series Sigs, and the Short Reset Trigger isn't available, but changing from DA/SA to DAO is a pretty simple exchange as well.

There are varying sizes of grips (as mentioned) available to fit large to small hands, and the swap between the standard and small triggers is fairly simple.

I have it set up with small grip and short trigger for my wife, but frequently just swap out to a medium grip to shoot myself. I can swap the grips in about 15 seconds now.

I haven't run across anyone who has one that isn't extremely pleased.

All good to know. I have often wondered why the are so inexpensive. I guess I just assumed it was due to the polymer frame.

I have one as well and really like it. It shoots extremely well and it shoots anything I give it. The night sights are very bright on mine as well. I bought it specifically because I wanted something to throw in my truck that i wasn't worried about getting scratched, etc. I have multiple other Sig's that I don't want to scratch or beat up, so this was perfect.

I used to have a xd sub compact that I thought I would never get rid of, then I got the sig pro. It is my primary carry gun in a supertuck. I like the comfort of carrying a gun in double action. I have about 2,000 rounds through the sig, and I have had one stovepipe and it was in the first mag I shot through the gun. This gun is capable of accuracy beyond most of our abilities (at least mine anyway). If I have a drawback with the gun it is the grip, but I am used to it and it feels natural to me now. As far as taking it down, it is simple to do. I bought a steve bedair (i think it was) stainless guide rod and polished it and the barrel + chamber. I took a dremel and trimmed down some of the finger groove on the mag so it would print a little less yet still enough of a shelf for my finger. Also cut off the lanyard loop that was on the back of the grip. I have posted these pics up on the forum a couple times in the past, hopefully people aren't getting tired of seeing them. I got one for Christmas and love it. I made a thread about it here.

I like it so much that once I got comfortable with the trigger I made it my main carry weapon, to the point that I'm selling my 1911 now.

I have had my SP2022 for a little over a year - traded another gun for it... It's a fine pistol - easy to handle, shoots/points well, accurate enough, etc. I like the fact that it's easy to use in low-light situations, and that it is virtually bungle-proof, as far as being a bedside firearm (what I use it for, with a Streamlight attached to it). I've never had an issue out of mine - it's reliable, and easily carried as a daily, too.

A good purchase, honestly.
