So back in 2002 the Marine Corps adopted this bayonet to replace the M9. I'm considering buying one to put on my AR15 but the ammount of reviews out there are nill.

They say it is made from 52-58 hardness carbon steel. Some sort of 'rubberish' Dynoflex material in the handle. Full tang. Brand new online they go from $100-170.

Does anybody know anything about this bayonet?

I don't have any first hand info on the bayonet but I do have a survival knife and a folder from Ontario knife company.

They both seem very well built. The survival knife has a rubberized handle like the bayonet and it looks like it would give great grip in a wet environment.

I have the Ontario "Spec Fighter" fixed blade knife (left center), and also the Ontario Air Force Survival knife (right center).

Both are heavy duty and very well made. They easily sharpen to a very keen edge, and hold it well.

I will have to add the bayonet to my collection.

You won't be disappointed in their quality. IMO
