Gun Thief Caught on Video:::: Help ID

There are people (I run into them every day) that want camera's so they can "see" who is doing it, but don't want an alarm system. Most have no clue, 1 or 2 I have run into I can understand why they don't want an alarm system, casue if your caught by their camera's you might just disappear.

I've dealt with security systems quite a bit as a user. I think one of the main objections is complexity of operation for the end user. I wouldn't have a system that isn't keyfob based. My system at home arms and disarms just like the keyless entry for a car. The system is on it's second live-in girlfriend, and there has only been one false alarm in the 6 or so years since I've had it.

At my office, which has people coming and going 24x7, we had to fully automate the system, and integrate it with the card access system to stop the weekly false alarms.

if the break in was done by someone known to the homeowner the video will be good for finding them.

if not know there is little to be gained from it. You could not ID one of them guys from it.

Maybe not identify them, but it certainly helped nail it down. There's a lot of information in that video.
