I ran a couple of mags through the SIG and it's a real pleasure to shoot! I've been away from guns for awhile but at about 10 yards I cut a 2" sapling in half with 12 rounds so it seems like it's pretty darn accurate. The .38 S&W Model 642 Airweight is my wife's. She hasn't shot it yet (never shot a gun before) She says she's excited but scared. I told her after the first shot, she'll be fine. I won't let her mess with it until she reads the manual, learns to load it, and learns to clean it.

I really want a snubbie. I also want many other guns. What to do, what to do.

Nice pair of guns there! Congrats!

I won't let her mess with it

I'd like to know how that works, lol. Me and the wife have an agreement, neither one of us "lets" the other do anything.

Nice guns! I like my P228.

Re: The 642, I have a 638 and it has some serious recoil with +P loads.

Start out with .38 target stuff. I also put a Hogue Bantam grip on it, a little more hand filling.

Here's our new family members!:cool::D

TargetShooter,

Beauties! That Sig looks cool.

My wife has a 642 and she loves it. When I first got it for her, we went shooting and the recoil scared her. She decided it was silly to be scared of her own gun, so she got a pair of shooting gloves and started shooting a cylinder full along with several .22s at each range session. Now she can shoot FBI loads in it, as well as shooting her Hi Power and either of my .45s with no problem...wears out the center of the silhouette at 5 yards.
