Does anyone know if a local shop stocks any leather gun belts? If not where's the best place on line?

I don't know of any local places to buy a true gun belt. But online Gun Belts by The Belt Man gets a lot of good rep. Any quality leather holster maker usually makes belts as well. I'm partial to DM Bullard, but that's just because ive dealt with him.

Edit: you might try KC Leatherwerks http://www.kcleatherwerks.com/products.html, I'm not sure how much finished product they carry, or if they have double layer belts or not. Would be worth a phone call

A search here, we've had a bunch of threads on belts and suppliers.

That's true for online suppliers for sure, I'm not sure if local Knoxville suppliers has been addressed.

Frontier Firearms sells a few.

Not sure what kind your are looking for, but I bought a wilderness belt and love it. Didn't get the plastic insert, but did get the five stitch to make it a little firmer. Make sure you measure exactly to their instructions because I over measured and mine is slightly too big, which doesn't work as well (can't get it tight enough sometimes.)

I assume you are wanting a leather dress casual looking belt but stronger? I bet Craigs may have a few in Knoxville. I know GTs in Chattanooga has them, there gould and gouldrich brand.

I picked up a knife at Greene Military the other day. I bet they have a few but I'm not sure. Call first, they are nice on the phone.

Cannot go wrong with the Beltman...had two 1.5 inch belts for 4 years and they are still like new, despite everyday use.

There is a Letherwerks store in Knoxville.

It's next to Parafrog Airsoft. Behind the Hardee's in that shopping center where Office Depot is on Kingston Pike.

Randy's Guns and Knives on Broadway in Fountain City had a broad selection of Leather holsters when I was ther a couple months ago.

Didn't notice the belts selection but might be worth a call.

And as mentioned above Greene's Military/Tactical/Police Supply on Kingston Pike has a big selection of Police gear.

Good Luck finding what you're seeking.

I bought a 1.5" leather 5.11 Tactical at Greene's, $34.95 + tax. They also have some leather Bianchi belts for the over $60.00 budget.

The 5.11 has served me well for 6 months and aside from the scraches from my holster clips, still in good shape, but it is MADE IN CHINA

I wish I had saved up and bought an American-made product!

Send a pm to Gregintn --- he MAY know of a TN-based, forum supporting belt and holster maker
