Thanks for the heads up. We should get it after it gets dark. That is when it scares me the worse. I'm asleep and I ain't hiding in the root celar.

Oh man, more shingles will be gone!!

Word from a Collierville alderman, their Emergency Management Director has cancelled all governement meetings for tonight saying the NWS said it will hit around 4:00.

On a side note, it is 75 degrees and the sun is shining out here where I am in East Memphis! Not a good combination with this type of weather.

I just want to be back in Tipton County and not on the road before it gets bad. I HATE driving in the rain in Memphis. These yahoos can't even drive on dry streets.

Yep, it's 65 F in Crossville in February, now that's strange. Come to think of it our weather has been screwed up pretty much all Winter.

Well, we have not taken my wife's car in yet to fix the tree damage from last week. I guess we can add it to the same claim if we get hit again!

Yah, like until April then it can really get nice. That'd save me a lot on the heating bills. LOL. I've got a bad feeling though that we're really going to catch it come mid/late Feb. and into March.

Been nice and warm here today, got off work early, took a quad ride and got some shooting in.

Fixing to fire up the grill.

I wish every day was today!

One of them is to the north, moving north. Starte around Bartlett, funnel spotted Kirby Whitten and Yale Road.

Another couple of storms south in Central Desoto county ms, and Tunica County ms, moving this way.

Dig in! We're in Jackson and we're not getting more than 50' from the storm shelter.

Looks like a possible one went through Germantown.

The one to the south of me looks like it is going to be on the Western side of the city of memphis. Going up Hwy 61 (the highway that goes to Tunica casinos.) The weather tracker shows it going just to the west of me by about 5-10 miles, hopefully it will stay on that track.

This internet thing is great but it can almost be too much info.

You could be here in Nebraska. It has been snowing & blowing all day and is suspossed to go all night. It is warm--about 28 degrees so all is normal. Enjoy and hope the storm misses you all.

It looked to be a pretty good sized tornado on the hilton cam on chanel 3. I am sure we will get some nasty stuff here in Jackson too. Hope everyone makes it with out too much trouble.

Looks like the one cell that was over Memphis is tracking up I40 towards Jackson. This is the only thing I hate about living here.

Okay, back on air. The torando was suppose to go to the west (Frayser area), but curved, went just to the east of the airport, then went to the edge of east memphis into Germantown about 5 miles from me, Couple of miles from my M&FIL. Then looks like it is going up toward Jackson. This thing was spotted and confirmed, caused damage in Southaven, Memphis industrial area near the airport, Hickory ridge mall was hit...rough night, but so far, we are ok.

You madison county guys, Madison County, Bemis area, West side of madison, take cover, headed your way.

Were ok around Collierville. The news people on channel 3 are saying this is the worst tornado activity ever in Memphis. Everybody be careful!

Our boss let us go a little early, and since I have an hours drive home, boy I'm glad he did. My office is by the airport/Southaven area. I out ran it by a hair. Once I got down Rosemark Rd, which was very flooded, I was on the home stretch.

Got lucky out here in Beech Bluff for once so far, but the folks in Mercer, Denmark, Huntersville, Springcreek and the 412/oilwell road ( basically all of West Madison Co. ) area's got hit again this time. JMCSD said there were a few trapped in Union, as well as several cars/trucks blown off of the interstate around the exit 68-63 range one of whick was a HAZ. MAT. truck. If I hear anything else or get called in by Red Cross I will try and give you guys some updates. I do know it is pretty bad in the areas that I mentioned with several hurt bad in the Huntersville area. They have called in EMT from all CO's to try and help out.
