Bout 4" in the 'Boro this morning.

5 - 7 inches in Chattannooga and still snowing as of 9:00. It looks like I won't be going to work till Wednesday. I don't feel like wrecking my car while trying to drive 60 miles to work.

Yeah Red Bank got it pretty good. Haven't measured, but at least 5 or 6 inches. Its purty, at least while it stays fresh & white.

Late last night around 4am was interesting because in the back yard and into the woods it was really bright. At least dawn bright. Could see clearly all the way up into the woods. Usually on an overcast night it is pretty dark back there. Snow must have been reflecting a big percentage of the city lights up onto the clouds, making a really bright night sky.

I haven't been outside yet but it looks like about 4 inches here in SE madison Cty.

About the same north of I-40 exit 83.

It was coming down pretty hard a few minutes ago and has stopped again. The exit ramps and I-40 look fine though.

Ended up with between 2 and 3 inches here. The road out front is clearing a bit now, but when I first looked out this morning, my driveway, the road, and the neighbor's yard across the street were one continuous surface, all the way to their creek.

Needless to say, we had no urge to try "car skiing", so haven't ventured out.

Got about 12 inches at home (outskirts of e.brainerd) and here at dad's (NW.GA). Some spots thicker, some lighter. Have some light but steady flurries at the moment.

Interstates are clear for the most part.

Just looked at TDOT's cameras for downtown Nooga' and all looks pretty safe down that way. Might have to venture down that way in a bit to see what trouble I can get myself into :dunno:

I was on the way home around 11pm last night and I 240 was a mess. Yet, typical of Memphis drivers I had people speeding past me and losing control of their vehicles. This is the only place that I have seen where people drive faster when it rains or snows.

About 4" here in Memphis, started about 6Pm last night and was for the most part done by midnight. Took off today and went sledding with the kids, had a blast.

Oak Ridge currently No Snow

Temp 27 F -3 C

Salt is out on the walkways/steps

I fully expect to be going to work in the morning. I have shove in the back of my Truck.

I plan to drive my 2wheel drive, Ford Ranger.

We had about 3-4 inches of snow in Oak Ridge

I got up, drove to hardees, got breakfast. Passed a plow truck, (he was spreading salt on the road and I didn't want to get that crap on my 20 year old truck), then drove to work. Couple hours later went back got my wife, drove her to work.

Then at lunch time I went out and got Pizza for my wife and took pizza back for the few people that actually showed up where I work.

I stayed and got some Overtime due to call offs, then I picked up my wife and we came home.

Roads are in great shape here in Trousdale Co now, all though the goat path I call a driveway still sucks! My work truck finally made it to the top of hill sideways. lol
