Any feedback on this Russian ammo. Speaking specifically about the steel case, Berdan primed stuff. Does the polymer coated casings present a problem?

I bought and shot 1k in my AR. No problem. It is dirty and you probably should clean after each outing.

Consistent with what I have read and heard. Got a couple thousand rounds coming so we will see.

You'll be happy.

I seem to have to clean my guns no matter what ammo I shoot.

I agree, but it is dirtier than WWB or my reloads.

I've been through a bit of 9mm, a few boxes of .40 and a few boxes of 5.56. I've had no issues. I clean every time I shoot regardless. I don't detail clean, but since I clean often, my guns don't seem to get dirty enough to need it.

Practically every range class ammo made is somebody's claim to being the dirtiest.

I can't see much diff in all the cheapo stuff I shoot, in any caliber.

Plus, almost all brands vary over time...what you buy now is not necessarily the same as what you'll get two years hence.

Exactly!

And I may be in the minority here but I don't clean my stainless barrel guns every outing, more like every 1000rds. I just make sure the chamber is clean and wipe down the outside.

I've shot the .45 variety and works just fine. I don't like it cause you cant reload the cases, but it shoots fine.
